Bermaz has announced that the sales tax for all Mazda vehicles booked during the zero-rated GST period by the government will be absorbed by the Bermas even if the vehicles are delivered after September 1, 2018.
Following the government’s announcement of the implementation of Sales & Services Tax (SST) effective September 1, 2018, the pricing of Mazda models is now inclusive of the 10% Sales Tax and After-sales services subject to 6% Service Tax.
New pricing for Mazda2 starts from RM74,670.00 (Mid-Spec) and RM 92,670.00 (LED Hi-Spec), Mazda3 from RM108,310.60, Mazda6 from RM165,215.60, CX-3 at RM128,159.00, CX-5 from RM132,389.59, CX-9 from RM288,610.40, MX-5 RF from RM222,277.30 and BT-50 from RM91,435.00 (OTR without insurance).

MAZDA CX-5 & CX-9 Equipment Upgrade
Mazda CX-5 is now equipped with Power Tailgate function, which offers hands-free access to the tailgate for loading and unloading cargo with a convenient push of a button on the Mazda Keyless Entry Transmitter/Remote or Key Fob. The Power Tailgate function is a feature enjoyed by consumers of many premium positioned brands. Built with jam-safe sensors to prevent jamming, the tailgate will move in the reverse direction automatically and stop in the event an obstruction is in the tailgate’s path.
The Power Tailgate is a Mazda factory- fitted feature that is available only for the 2.0L (GLS), 2.5L and 2.2L variants in the Malaysian market.
The Mazda CX-5 (CKD) selling price for the 2.0L (GL) starts from RM132,389.59 (OTR without insurance). The 2.0L (GLS) from RM148,214.45, 2.5L from RM160,004.00, and 2.2L from RM164,693.85 (OTR without insurance) inclusive of the new feature. Available in eight colour choices; Soul Red Crystal, Machine Grey, Snowflake White Pearl, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver, Meteor Grey, Jet Black and Arctic White.
The Mazda CX-9 is now equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 360° View Monitor. With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, drivers and passengers can access phone applications via the MZD Connect infotainment system through a simple USB connection. Using the Mazda Commander Control, users can easily switch between different user interfaces and manage different capabilities. Currently, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available only on the New Mid-Year 2018 Mazda CX-9. 360° View Monitor utilizes four separate cameras to give the driver an accurate picture of the car and its surroundings by showing all sides of the vehicle during parking and reversing manoeuvres. The New Mid-Year 2018 Mazda CX-9 also comes with ventilated front seats that direct air through the seat unto its occupant for increased comfort.
The Mazda C-9 SKYACTIV-G 2.5L Turbo (CBU) selling price starts from RM 288,610.40 (OTR without insurance). Available in five colour choices: Machine Grey, Snowflake White Pearl, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver and Jet Black.
All new Mazda vehicles registered will enjoy 5 Years/100,000km Manufacturing Warranty and 3 Years/60,000km Free Maintenance according to manufacturer’s standards. Mazda customers will enjoy 3 year free scheduled maintenance which includes labour, parts, and lubricants. The 5 Years Manufacturing Warranty and 3 Years Maintenance applies to all models except the BT-50 pickup.
